RiviFM studio

Our studio is based at Rivington and Blackrod High School, Horwich Bolton Lancashire and is supplied from The Radio Surgery who provide support and consultancy to radio projects such as ours.

It consists of professional equipment, and all our presenters have received full training by The Radio Surgery. Studio equipment includes a X14 Professional Broadcast Desk (the mixer), CD players, Sony Minidisks and Sonifex Discart machines, and dedicated telephone lines into the studio.

New for 2007/8

A new air conditioned studio suite fitted with a two, top of the range Commercial Myriad Systems, twin satellite system receiving Astra and Hot bird for the very latest news and weather from around the world, dedicated telephone lines using blue tooth technology and live streaming to web cams supported by a team of dedicated technicians. This new system will allow greater flexibility and more on air programming which means greater output from the best radio station in the north west Rivi fm.

All programmes and guests will be relevant to our pupils lives, and part of the 3G programme, so this station really is one not to be missed. keep and eye on our update page for the latest news from Rivi fm!
