Sports Fixtures and Enrichment
All students are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities and these run throughout the year. Participating in inter-school and inter-county competitions improves individual skill performance as well as knowledge and understanding of the rules and tactics which all students get assessed in. Clubs are held at lunch-times and after school with matches being held weekly. To further improve practical performance, students should be attending other clubs linked with Rivington & Blackrod High School through the PESSCL initiative (school and club links).
