Design Technology Department

The Design Technology Department is made up of a team of staff dedicated to developing pupils' knowledge, skills and understanding in using a range of equipment, materials, and techniques to explore, design and make products and systems that meet human needs.  Whilst pupils are in design technology they are working in a stimulating environment where they are engaged in a continuous course of personal development. 

The school day in Design Technology does not finish at 3.15pm there are always members of staff prepared to run after school clubs to aid pupil progress. In Design Technology, we aim to provide a curriculum that is challenging yet accessible to all students, allowing them to progress, develop and achieve their full potential within this subject area.
