Parents

Whether you're the parent of a Year 7 to 11 pupil or a sixth form student, we hope that you will find useful information on this website to help you to help us to educate your child to have the knowledge, skills and attitude to become high achieving and positive citizens.

We have a tremendous ambition for everyone who attends Rivington and Blackrod High School and with staff, students, parents, governors and the wider community working together we know that we can achieve our aims and prepare your child for their future career. Of course, we cannot do this alone. We need your child to engage with the school and to work hard during their time with us. And we need you to help encourage and develop their ability to do that. At times you may need our support and we may need yours, in reaching our ultimate goal of preparing your child to take their place in the world - we think that's a good goal to share and hope that you will join with us in working towards it.

If our web site leaves you with any unanswered questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
