School Governors
The Governing Body is charged with the overall management and strategic direction of The Brook Learning Partnership. The main responsibilities of the governing body are:
- Strategic - providing a strategic direction for the work and improvement of the school
- Act as a critical friend - support, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the school
- Ensure accountability - hold the school to account (to parents, OfSTED, the Local Authority) for the standards achieved and the quality of education)
As a body it meets regularly and its members are involved in sub-committees that deal with the schools finance, curriculum, community, staffing and property matters.
