Health, Safety and Welfare
The school recognises that the health, safety and welfare of its staff and pupils is of vital importance. To achieve this there is an established Health, Safety and Welfare (HSW) group which has the prime purpose of promoting health, safety and welfare across the whole school and identifying any areas of good practice and areas for development.
The composition of the group is representative of all departmental and support areas in school. These group members are the communication link between their own departments, the senior leadership team, governors and the HSW group. Members consist of:
Kris Arkwright (Mathematics)
Martin Beckett (Facilities Manager)
Gail Burns (Science)
Hannah Cassidy (Sixth Form)
Ann Devine (Chair / PE)
Eamonn Durkan (Technology)
Sue Kendal (Finance)
Carl McNamara (Humanities)
