Rivington & Blackrod Sixth Form Open Evening

Our Sixth Form Open Evening, held on Thursday, 9th October 2025, was a great opportunity for prospective students and families to explore what life is like at Rivington & Blackrod Sixth Form.
Visitors had the chance to tour our newly refurbished facilities, meet subject teachers, and talk to our current students about their experiences of Sixth Form life. Guided tours were led by our student ambassadors, who shared valuable insights into the courses, enrichment opportunities and support available as part of the Rivi Experience.
The evening provided a relaxed and informative atmosphere, allowing families to ask questions, learn more about our wide range of A Level and vocational courses and get a real sense of the welcoming and supportive environment that defines our Sixth Form.
We’re grateful to everyone who attended and to our staff and students who helped make the evening a success. For anyone unable to attend, we’ll be holding another Sixth Form Open Evening in February 2026, offering another chance to visit, meet the team, and discover what makes Rivington & Blackrod Sixth Form a fantastic place to learn and grow.
