We’re pleased to announce our annual ski trip for 2023 has been confirmed and this time we’re heading to Sestriere, Italy. Join us for a week of snowy adventure from Saturday, 11th February until Saturday, 18th February 2023.
Sestriere is located in the Milky Way area of Italy and it offers outstanding skiing for all ability groups. The Milky Way (or Via Lattea) straddles France and Italy and consists of six separate ski resorts offering something for everyone. It embraces 400km of combined slopes, and Sestriere is the highest resort at 2035m.
The hotel we are booked into is called Hotel Duchi d’Aosta. We will depart from Manchester Airport on Saturday 11th February and are away for 8 days (7 nights in resort). We have allocated 40 places for the trip and these will be available on a first come, first served basis.
The total cost of the trip is £1491.50 and includes:
- 7 days full board accommodation
- 6 x 4 hours of ski instruction
- 6 days of hire of skis, boots, ski poles and ski helmet
- 6 days ski pass
- snow guarantee
- return flights from Manchester
- coach transfer from school to airport (parents collect pupils from Manchester Airport on return)
- comprehensive medical and travel insurance
- airport taxes
- services of a ski technician
- full evening entertainment programme
The total cost of the trip is £1491.50. We require an initial deposit of £150 to secure a place which is non-refundable except on the grounds of redundancy or medical reasons. This first deposit is due by the 31st March 2022 and places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. If the school withdraws your child from the course owing to unacceptable behaviour, attitude to work, falling behind their targets the deposit will also be non-returnable.
The trip will be launched on ParentPay from 5pm on Friday, 4th March 2022.
