Year 7's First Bushcraft Adventure

Our Year 7 students recently embarked on their very first residential trip to The Bushcraft Company in York, an unforgettable, hands-on adventure set in the heart of the great outdoors.
For two days, the beautiful woodland became their home, classroom and playground as students took part in a range of exciting activities that encouraged teamwork, creativity and courage. From fire lighting and shelter building to trap making, each challenge helped them discover new skills and build lasting memories.
More than just a fun experience, the trip offered a fantastic opportunity for team building and personal growth. Whether working together to construct shelters or supporting one another through new challenges, our students showed great resilience, cooperation and confidence.
It was a wonderful way to round off their first year at RBHS and a perfect reminder of the joy and value of learning beyond the classroom.
