Year 9 Duke of Edinburgh Award Training Day

Year 9 students recently took part in a Duke of Edinburgh training day, giving them the opportunity to develop important skills ahead of their expeditions.
From map reading and tent building to stove cooking and first aid, students took part in a range of practical activities throughout the day. It was great to see them supporting one another and approaching each task with confidence, helping them feel more prepared and ready to take on the challenge of their upcoming expedition.
