The History department are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for Year 9 students to visit Berlin during June 2026.
Students will visit the Reichstag, remains of the Berlin Wall and have the opportunity to visit Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp whilst there, as well as developing an understanding of Germany during the Nazi years, as well as the impact the Cold War had on the city of Berlin.
This will allow students to develop some key knowledge before they begin their GCSE studies or to develop their knowledge of the Second World War and Holocaust that we study in Year 9.
The cost of the trip is £800, which covers flights (hand luggage only), transfers, bed and breakfast accommodation in a hotel, lunches and admission charges. Final details will be confirmed nearer to the departure date.
If you would like your child to go on this exciting trip, we require a non-refundable deposit of £150 by 27th October 2025, followed by the below payment schedule. ParentPay will open for bookings on Sunday 19th October 2025 at 6pm.
