School Uniform
As a school, we firmly believe that our school uniform at Key Stage 3 and 4 plays a valuable role in contributing to our ethos and setting an appropriate tone that supports effective teaching and learning.
Working with students, we have made a lot of progress towards achieving the consistent appearance of students in uniform across both key stages and we are keen to maintain this. Therefore, all students should wear the specified school uniform in the policy link below with names marked on each item.
Please note: Trainers, trainer look shoes, and canvas footwear is strictly not permitted under any circumstances irrespective of whether it is described as a 'school shoe' by retailers. One such shoe is the Oslo Flare by Clarks (click here to view) this type of shoe is not permitted in school.
Year 7 Tie Colour
For students starting in Year 7 in September 2026, the tie colour is GREEN. They will remain in this colour of tie throughout their time at Rivington and Blackrod High School.
